Scope and Contents This material is comprised of several different object types spanning over 200 years. The majority of the collection is comprised of real property deeds and mortgages, mostly from the mid-1700s to the late 1800s, although there are a few that go into the early 1900s. In the 1800s materials there are also large groups of correspondence, several diaries, store ledgers, and school books. Scope and Contents

This collection contains records and information from 1892 to 1997, with the bulk of the material being late 1800s to early 1900s. The books are individually catalogued and the Hereditary Societies series is broken up into folders by society name. The newspaper clippings in the Genealogical Research and Notes series have all been copied, and those copies are foldered with the clippings themselves.
